Safari Inn Burbank-Universal Studios

Great location, free shuttle was very convenient. Soaps were low/out when we checked in but staff were very responsive to refilling, even late at night. Good price compared to other local options. Sister property next door looked nice, offered breakfast at a discount for staying. Parking fee for the new year was a little disappointing but we were notified ahead of time and seems to be the norm for most properties these days. Thanks for a great stay.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The room was very clean, and the location couldn’t have been better with just a few minutes from the downtown theme park area. The shuttle service was honestly the highlight of the stay. It made getting around completely stress‑free, with no need to worry about driving or parking, which was a major plus. The staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, and the property felt secure throughout my stay. Overall, a perfect experience from start to finish. Highly Recommend

Fully enjoyed my stay. The folks at check in were so nice with a warm reception. The room was clean and not too much noise. Mini fridge and coffee inside. Very basic but fine for the price. I've stayed a few times and have always had a pleasant experience.

Our favorite spots? The pool balcony was perfect for relaxing with a drink, and the heated pool was dreamy—especially for a nighttime dip. Plus, the shuttle to WB Studios made getting there easy and stress-free, which was such a thoughtful perk. Overall, it’s a mix of retro charm, comfort, and practicality. Whether you’re in town for sightseeing, nostalgia, or just a fun, relaxing getaway, Safari Inn hits all the right notes.

The stay was amazing!! Great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful! We did universal and they had a shuttle drop us off and pick us up both times the shuttle was right on time! Made our trip stress free and we will be back in October for universal Halloween! Recommend to anyone pick safari Inn!!

Loved everything about the place. The location, hospitality of the front desk staff, the spacious room, the ample parking, the lovely cafe across the street for breakfast... and of course the convenience of having the CVS and other stores close by. Everything in the room worked well and the wi-fi was also good. Made for a memorable trip!

We stayed at Safari Inn for three nights during our Universal Studios trip, traveling with children. Unfortunately, our experience started with a major issue. The room did not match what was advertised on Booking.com. The listing clearly states that all rooms include a kitchen. This was the primary reason we chose this hotel. However, our room did not have a kitchen — not even a microwave. It only had a small refrigerator. Because we relied on the listing information, I ordered groceries in advance (our flight was delayed three hours, so the front desk received them). We were planning to prepare breakfast and warm milk for our children before going to the parks. Without a kitchen or microwave in the room, this was impossible. There is a public microwave downstairs, but going downstairs late at night with small children is not realistic. We ended up losing part of the groceries we purchased. For a stay that cost nearly $600 for three nights, this felt misleading and extremely disappointing. The information about kitchens should be clarified immediately, as not all rooms include one. Additionally, the beds were smaller than expected (full-size rather than queen), which made sleeping arrangements more difficult for a family. On the positive side, the shuttle service to Universal Studios and Burbank Airport was very convenient and helpful, especially since we did not rent a car. The location is good, with restaurants within walking distance (including Chinese food and casual dining options). The staff was polite and friendly. Overall, the convenience and shuttle service were positives, but the inaccurate room description significantly impacted our stay. I strongly recommend confirming directly with the hotel if having a kitchen is important for your trip.

This is our go to stay location when visiting SoCal. I beleive we stayed there on 3 different occasions in 2025!!! The staff are always friendly, respectful and helpful when needed. That said, we want to call out Melanie, She is super nice and awesome! Mel is the real deal when it comes to provding customer service and going above and beyond to make sure our stays are the best and memorable! Th hotel, rooms and location are perfect for us. In addition we go there because there are no daily parking fees! So many other places charges which I feel it’s just another way to price gouge customers!! That’s a major plus for us and why we always stay here! FREE PARKING :D Thank you Safari Inn Staff and to Mel Happy New Year!
